Golo Euler (born September 8, 1982, in Starnberg) is a German actor.
Golo Euler attended the Maximiliansgymnasium in Munich, where he earned his *Abitur* (high school diploma) in 2001. From 2002 to 2006, he studied at the August Everding Bavarian Theatre Academy. Even during his training, he performed at the Akademietheater Munich and the Metropoltheater Munich in productions such as *Hamlet*, *Trainspotting*, and *Jesus von Texas*.
Further engagements followed at the Theater Halle 7 in Munich and the Staatstheater Braunschweig.
In 2006, Euler landed his first lead role in a feature-length production in the ZDF television drama *Auftauchen*. Subsequently, he appeared in films such as *Westwind*, *The Grand Budapest Hotel*, *Ferien*, *Anderswo*, and *Lotta & das ewige Warum*.
Since 2009, Euler has appeared in numerous episodes of the series *Sturm der Liebe*. From 2011 to 2012, he played Commissioner Peter Schulte in the ARD series *Heiter bis tödlich: Henker & Richter*. In 2011, for his role in *Kasimir und Karoline*, he received the German Film New Talent Award (*Förderpreis Deutscher Film*) for "Best Actor" at the Munich Film Festival.
Other notable productions include *Tatort: Im Schmerz geboren*, *Die letzte Sau*, *Fado*, *Laim und die Zeichen des Todes*, *Tatort – Hardcore*, and the ZDF series *Schwartz & Schwartz*, in which he shared a lead role with Devid Striesow.
In 2018, Euler also appeared on screen in *Tatort – Unter Kriegern*, *Die Toten von Salzburg*, *Der Staatsanwalt*, *Die Schattenfreundin*, and *Das schönste Mädchen der Welt*. In 2019, he was seen in cinemas in the film *Kirschblüten & Dämonen*.
For his role in *Tatort – Unter Kriegern*, he was nominated for the German Actors' Award (*Deutscher Schauspielerpreis*) for "Best Supporting Actor" in 2019.
Euler is a public advocate for the Biodiversity Foundation founded by Dirk Steffens.
