Alex Hera

Alex Hera is a filmmaker, writer, and editor whose work spans found footage, documentary, and interactive storytelling. They wrote, directed, produced, and edited the found footage feature What I Remember (2025), which premiered at the Unnamed Footage Festival and won its Founders Seal award. Hera also created The History of Analog Horror (2022) and the three-part documentary series Slenderverse (2024), exploring the creators and communities behind internet horror. Their work on Final Transmissions includes writing, directing, and editing the episode “Bethel Hill.”
