Nagarjuna Akkineni

Akkineni Nagarjuna (born 29 August, 1959) is an Indian actor, film producer, and television presenter who predominantly works in Telugu cinema, alongside Hindi and Tamil films. He is the son of actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao. After appearing as a child artist, he made his debut as a leading actor with *Vikram* (1986).
He later appeared in Mani Ratnam's romantic tragedy *Geethanjali* (1989) and Ram Gopal Varma's crime drama *Siva* (1989). His other films include *Hello Brother* (1994), *Ninne Pelladata* (1996), *Annamayya* (1997), *Santosham* (2002), *Manmadhudu* (2002), *Mass* (2004), *Sri Ramadasu* (2006), *Manam* (2014), *Oopiri* (2016), and *Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva* (2022).
As an actor and producer with Annapurna Studios, he has received two National Film Awards, including a Special Mention for *Annamayya* and Best Feature Film in Telugu for *Ninne Pelladata*, nine Nandi Awards, and three Filmfare Awards South. He has hosted several seasons of the reality show *Bigg Boss Telugu* and co-founded the Blue Cross of Hyderabad.
